Job summary

Endava Limited is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern React applications and secure backend services in C#/.NET Core. You will build APIs, work with AWS-based microservices, and ensure robust data access with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

You will contribute to testing, CI/CD, and IaC, while collaborating with QA and SRE teams to enhance reliability and delivery. A hybrid work model and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and supporting production software.
• Strong C# and .NET Core skills including REST APIs and secure coding.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with microservices and API-first development.
• Experience on AWS and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Automated testing across UI, API, data and cloud layers.
• CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Translate business requirements into maintainable code.

Job Description

• Design, develop, evaluate, and maintain responsive React applications, portals, and embeddable widget experiences that can be integrated into partner platforms.
• Build secure, versioned, well-documented REST APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core.
• Implement business workflows and integrations across embedded finance providers, partner systems, enterprise APIs, webhooks, file exchanges, and AWS services.
• Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to design schemas, queries, indexes, migrations, and reliable data-access patterns.
• Contribute to AWS-native workloads running on EKS, Lambda, and batch/container services, with Step Functions or equivalent orchestration where appropriate.
• Write production-grade unit, component, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests using the relevant stack, including Jest for React and NUnit for .NET.
• Participate in API and event-contract design, code reviews, pairing, technical documentation, architecture discussions, and secure coding reviews.
• Contribute to infrastructure and delivery automation using CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Instrument services and user journeys with meaningful logs, metrics, traces, and alerts; troubleshoot defects and production issues across application layers.
• Collaborate with QA to improve automation, test data, environment readiness, and release confidence, and with SRE/operations teams to improve runbooks and recovery procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and supporting production software applications.
• Strong C# and .NET Core skills, including REST APIs, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, testing, and secure coding.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB or comparable relational and document databases.
• Experience with microservices, API‑first development, third‑party integration, and resilient distributed‑system patterns.
• Experience building applications on AWS and working with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Ability to write automated unit and integration tests and diagnose issues across UI, API, data, and cloud layers.
• Experience with Git‑based workflows and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable platforms.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into maintainable, well‑documented implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embeddable widgets, micro‑frontends, white‑label applications, or multi‑tenant SaaS platforms.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, ECS batch workloads, S3, KMS, certificate management, or secrets management.
• Exposure to Python services or data pipelines and Python unittest.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi and GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
• Experience with Splunk, DataDog, Grafana, CloudWatch, distributed tracing, and production incident support.
• Financial services, payments, embedded finance, lending, or banking‑domain experience.
