Job summary

Deckers Brands, home of HOKA, is seeking a Lead Designer for Graphics & Prints in its Portland hybrid studio. You will drive bold, disruptive apparel graphics, accelerate the refresh engine, and push product storytelling across categories, translating insights into design from concept to final product.

You will partner with product, merchandising, and marketing to deliver cohesive narratives, manage multiple calendars, and contribute to seasonal toolboxes and direction.

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic design, product design, or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in apparel graphic design, with a focus on men’s and women’s performance product.
• Advanced understanding of graphic and allover print process, application, and technique.
• Strong knowledge of apparel construction, materials, and product process.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Lucid.
• Familiarity with generative AI platforms such as Midjourney or Vizcom.

Responsibilities

• Lead graphics and allover print design execution on priority projects.
• Develop graphics and allover print solutions across apparel and accessories.
• Support seasonal briefs, franchise concepts, and optioning strategies.
• Manage multiple creation calendars across inline, collaborations, SMU projects, and handoff process.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to build seasonal toolboxes and application strategies.
• Partner with product design, material design, development, merchandising, and marketing to deliver cohesive product stories.
• Support seasonal design strategy and contribute to category direction.
• Collaborate with apparel, accessories, material, and digital design teams to deliver a holistic product POV.
• Explore unbriefed opportunities that push HOKA expression and innovation.
