Job summary

Verity is hiring a founding Senior Manager, Design Systems Engineer to align Figma libraries with a code-based component system. You will own the @verity/ui and token pipelines, ensuring accessible, type-safe components across teams.

You'll drive design-to-code workflows, establish governance for migrations, and partner with design and product to scale a robust design system during a critical growth phase.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building front-end systems or design libraries in React/TS.
• Typed component APIs and publishing a design system package.
• Hands-on with design-to-code workflows and Figma Dev Mode.

Responsibilities

• Own the design system component library and publish as a versioned package.
• Build and maintain token pipelines from design tokens to CSS and typed outputs.
• Create code-to-Figma token workflows to prevent design drift.
• Author Code Connect mappings to generate real components from Figma Dev Mode.
• Define AI-ready system surfaces, manifests, registries, and workflows.
• Strengthen CI gates for accessibility, visual regression, and linting.
• Manage changesets, semantic versioning, and codemods for migrations.
• Collaborate with designers and product teams on conventions and governance.
