Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States seeks a Senior Design Reliability & Safety Engineer to advance Design for Reliability (DfSR) and robustness across multiple product squads. You will embed safety and reliability into design practices from concept to production.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering or quality, experience with ReliaSoft, and a customer-focused, cross-functional collaboration mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• 5+ years in engineering or quality with focus on DfSR/DFSS and power/electromechanical systems.
• Experience with ReliaSoft and Agile product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of DfSR processes across multiple product squads.
• Champion the integration of safety and reliability into design practices.
• Assess critical design elements and develop safety-focused risk plans.
• Coach teams in DfSR methods and report outcomes for compliance.
• Train and mentor design engineers in DfSR methodologies.
