Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive problem solver capable of hands-on lab work.
• Willingness to travel within U.S. and internationally (~10%).

Responsibilities

• Own the definition, development, and maintenance of Product Technical Specifications for GSP platforms.
• Architect and evolve ventilation hood platforms with suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers for qualification and certification adherence.
• Lead airflow system development and validation for ventilation categories.
• Drive design optimization for airflow, noise, energy, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (UL, AHAM, DOE).
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure platform consistency and execution.
• Drive modular platform strategies for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies (motors, filtration, connected features).
• Maintain engineering documentation and CAD models for platform integrity.
