Job summary

High Concrete Group LLC in Denver, PA seeks an Associate Engineer Design Team Leader to oversee engineering design and coordination on assigned precast projects. You will guide engineers, modelers and checkers, review drawings, request information, lead design meetings and ensure timely production drawings and data.

The role emphasizes budget accountability, compliance with design standards, collaboration with project managers, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Preferred) or related degree.
• Two years minimum experience in precast industry (engineering process).
• Mastery of techniques and best practices to produce precast drawings.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, organization and problem solving skills.
• Computer skills in spreadsheets/databases and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of engineers, modelers and checkers during design on assigned projects.
• Review contract drawings to identify problems, missing information or conflicts.
• Develop and communicate requests for information from internal/external customers.
• Lead design meetings and manage project document control for all assigned projects.
• Oversee BIM model drawings aligned with contract documents for production use.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely information release and submittal approvals.
• Provide guidance to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
