Job summary

NAC is seeking a Design Engineer to join our growing Design/Build Department in the Twin Cities area. The role focuses on leading HVAC, piping, and plumbing design from concept through construction documents, working with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualified candidates have a Mechanical Engineering degree with 5–10 years of related experience, strong design software skills (Revit, AutoCAD, Trane 3D Plus), and a solid understanding of applicable

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in HVAC, piping, and plumbing design.
• Familiarity with codes and standards including ASHRAE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design/build HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects from concept to construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors in meetings.
• Visit jobsites for new construction and remodeling projects.
• Guide the design process from concept through construction drawings.
