Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Grand Rapids to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will develop schedules, coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, and monitor budgets to keep projects on track.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on construction management, sharp communication, and the ability to read drawings and manage multiple priorities while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction or construction management.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, schedules, budgets, and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, change orders, invoices, and overall financial performance.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.
• Identify risks early and develop practical solutions.
