Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking an experienced professional to own end-to-end collateral and margin operations for assigned OTC derivative portfolios. The Role at a Glance
What you'll be doing
  • Owns end-to-end collateral and margin operations for assigned OTC derivative portfolios, including margin calls, eligibility, haircuts, substitutions, settlements, and dispute resolution.
  • Administers complex credit support arrangements and independently evaluates collateral sufficiency, agreement requirements, operational risks, and exceptions.
  • Leads initial margin forecasting and variation margin sensitivity analyses to anticipate collateral requirements, funding needs, and portfolio impacts.
  • Manages funding and liquidity activities associated with hedging service arrangements, including draws, repayments, sufficiency monitoring, and interest accruals.
  • Serves as the primary operational contact and escalation resource for structured reinsurance counterparties, resolving complex issues requiring judgment and cross-functional coordination.
  • Oversees trade lifecycle activities, accounting inputs, reconciliations, and downstream reporting for assigned derivative and collateral activity under applicable GAAP and statutory requirements.
  • Resolves complex or ambiguous operational, accounting, valuation, and reporting breaks through root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective action.
  • Leads cross-functional projects and process improvements that strengthen controls, increase automation, reduce manual work, and improve scalability across derivatives operations.
  • Designs, maintains, and enhances SOX controls, operating procedures, and governance practices while supporting audits and remediating identified control gaps.
  • Provides technical guidance to colleagues and advises Trading, Treasury, Accounting, Reporting, Risk, Legal, and Technology partners on derivatives operations and collateral matters.

The pay range for this position is$106,875 - $171,000with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
