Qualificações

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 12+ years of progressive legal experience, including substantial in-house experience.
• Healthcare sector experience preferred, with knowledge of PBMs and related areas.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading legal operations.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with the General Counsel on strategy, priorities, and risk.
• Lead and develop attorneys, establishing clear responsibilities and accountability.
• Oversee day-to-day Legal team operations and matter intake processes.
• Build and improve legal processes, workflows, and performance metrics.
• Evaluate legal tech, automation, and contract lifecycle management.
• Manage outside counsel relationships, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Establish frameworks for risk assessment, escalation, and reporting.
• Provide strategic guidance on commercial contracting and healthcare law.
• Advise on federal and state healthcare laws and regulations.
• Lead support for significant negotiations, partnerships, and transactions.
• Develop contracting standards, templates, and escalation procedures.
