San Bernardino County is seeking a Supervising Deputy District Attorney to lead the daily operations of a unit or branch office. This role directs prosecution of criminal cases, mentors staff, allocates workloads, and partners with courts and law enforcement to uphold justice.

Requirements include active CA State Bar membership, five years of prosecuting trial attorney experience in California, and current employment as a Deputy District Attorney IV with San Bernardino County.

Qualifications

Active CA State Bar membership required at the time of hire.
Five (5) years of experience as a prosecuting trial attorney in California.
Current employment as Deputy District Attorney IV with San Bernardino County.
San Bernardino County employment must be listed in work history.

Responsabilités

Lead the daily operations of a unit or branch office and oversee criminal case administration.
Provide legal and trial guidance, review significant case outcomes, and ensure accountability.
Coach, mentor, and evaluate staff, recruit and manage personnel actions, and resolve workplace issues.
Distribute workloads, maintain case quality, and implement procedural/technological improvements.
May personally handle court appearances and prepare pleadings or other documents.
