Job summary

Eastern Dental is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to head our clinical team in New Jersey. You will train new hires, optimize workflows, and ensure smooth chairside operations while upholding high patient care standards.

You will collaborate with the office manager and dentists to enhance processes, supervise staff, manage inventory, and keep treatment rooms well-stocked, fostering mentorship and efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Dental X-Ray License.
• 3-5 years of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Train and onboard new dental assistants on systems, protocols, and patient care standards.
• Mentor dental assistants—answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance.
• Assist chairside when needed while coordinating with the broader team.
• Partner with the office manager and dentists to improve processes and patient experience.
• Maintain supply inventory and keep treatment rooms stocked and organized.
