Personnel Resources, Inc. is seeking an Activities Director to provide meaningful engagement and respite for individuals living with Alzheimer's and other dementias, while supporting caregivers.

You will work with program leadership, staff, volunteers, participants, and families to ensure a safe, welcoming environment. The role requires planning and leading Respite activities 2-3 days per week, coordinating events, onboarding families, training volunteers, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience with dementia programs or caregiving is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities for Respite programming 2-3 days per week.
• Assist with daily program preparation, activities, transitions, and cleanup.
• Help plan and coordinate special events and educational programs.
• Welcome new families and assist with enrollment/onboarding.
• Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding participant experiences and concerns.
• Recruit, train, coordinate, and support volunteers.
• Maintain attendance records, participant information, supplies, and program documentation.
• Monitor safety and address health or safety concerns appropriately.
• Assist with caregiver education and community resource connections.
• Support office operations and social media content.
