Job summary

Price Chopper is seeking an experienced Deli Department Supervisor in the Wilkes-Barre area. You will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards, and promote fast, friendly service to customers.

You will hire, train and develop staff, schedule shifts, and enforce safety and sanitation policies. You’ll monitor payroll, sales and inventory while merchandising products per corporate plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to manage others and follow through to achieve results.
• Basic literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication skills.

• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day department operations.
• Schedule and staff department to meet business needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation laws and policies.
• Hire, train and develop department staff; document performance issues.
• Ensure department staff follows dress code.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and uphold 5S standards.
• Monitor payroll, sales, gross profit, CTO, shrink and inventory levels.
• Merchandise department products per corporate planograms and programs.
