Job summary

The position includes assisting the deli manager with day-to-day tasks, inventory management, and merchandising of deli products to support sales and customer satisfaction. Prior related experience is helpful; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to supervise others.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Basic literacy and basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact and thank customers after fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat and clean work station at all times.
• Assist deli manager with day-to-day operation including scheduling, inventory and financial aspects.
• Merchandise deli products including pricing, rotation, and displays.
