Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead complex aerospace and defense programs within Sea Systems. The role covers inception to completion with primary customer contact and responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance.

The candidate should have 5+ years in a similar role, a bachelor’s in engineering or related field, and preferably a master’s degree with PMI PMP or Defense PM certification. Background in regulated environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in a similar role, industry, or functional area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certifications Preferred: Defense Program Management Certification; PMI PMP.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of programs from inception through completion, including cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Serve as primary customer contact and lead program review sessions on cost, schedule and performance.
• Establish cost controls and monitor adherence to contract requirements and program plans.
