Job summary

Aimpoint Digital is seeking a Lead Decision Scientist to drive end-to-end analytic solutions for Federal customers. You will design, deploy, and maintain models in production, guiding junior team members and collaborating with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights.

You will leverage optimization, simulation, and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems, while adhering to engineering best practices and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance is required.
• Willingness to work on-site in a facility with SIPR access 2-4 days/week.
• MS/PhD or MS with 5–6 years of practical experience; PhD with 4–5 years.
• Strong knowledge of optimization techniques and data-driven modeling.
• Experience delivering end-to-end models from requirements to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end analytical solutions for Federal clients, from architecture to deployment.
• Lead projects and mentor junior decision scientists across customer engagements.
• Develop agentic workflows and production-grade models following MLOps practices.
• Communicate complex results clearly to high-level stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with account teams to ensure successful project delivery and proposal support.
