Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Data Science Lead to guide predictive and prescriptive analytics for a federal government client. You will oversee end-to-end model development, deployment, and evaluation to align with mission objectives and operational needs.

The role requires expert ML, statistical modeling, and data governance, with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills in cloud-based environments such as AWS/Azure/Databricks.

Qualifications

• Lead development of predictive and prescriptive analytics aligned with mission objectives.
• Proficient in advanced ML techniques, statistical modeling, and data provenance.
• Experience implementing Agile methodologies and managing analytic sprints.
• Experience deploying enterprise-level predictive analytics with governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, deployment, and evaluation of analytics to meet mission needs.
• Establish framework distinguishing data science and data engineering tasks.
• Submit strategy & implementation reports detailing progress and validation.
• Coordinate compute/storage resources for large-scale model training (GPU, storage).
• Fund usage-based compute/storage costs per Government PM approval.
