Job summary

Steven Winter Associates is seeking a strategic engineer to lead projects in Building Decarbonization Research & Pilots, primarily focusing on electrification and implementation strategies for multifamily and commercial buildings.

With over 10 years in energy efficiency and a degree in a relevant field, candidates will work in a hybrid position with responsibilities spanning project management and technical leadership, while supporting industry thought leadership and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in building decarbonization, energy efficiency, applied research or consulting.
• Experience leading technically complex projects through implementation.
• Deep technical knowledge of building HVAC, domestic hot water, controls, and/or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex building decarbonization projects from concept through implementation.
• Collaborate with utilities, government agencies, and industry partners to achieve goals.
• Mentor and support technical staff across project delivery.
