Job summary

Flex, based in Milpitas, CA, seeks a Debug Engineer Supervisor to lead debugging efforts and oversee testing of electronic hardware and software. The role reports to the Test Engineering Manager and focuses on cost-effective testing methods and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 4-7+ years in Electrical/Computer Electrical technologies; 3+ years manufacturing.
• Strong communication and management skills for on-floor issue resolution.
• Ability to interpret diverse technical instructions and variables.
• Experience leading major initiatives and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a debugging team of up to 15 technicians.
• Plan, execute, and oversee electronic hardware and software testing.
• Analyze test results, prepare technical reports and failure analyses.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, purchasing, SQA, and production teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis of test yield issues and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor technicians and operators on test hardware, software, and problem-solving.
• Evaluate, configure, and troubleshoot digital circuits including FPGA and BGA.
