Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Distribution Center Maintenance Technician to lead electrical and mechanical maintenance across high‑volume facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize material handling equipment, conveyors, and control systems to maximize uptime.

The role requires at least 2 years of preventative maintenance experience in a distribution center, plus relevant licenses and strong communication. This on‑site position offers growth within a market‑leading beauty retailer.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years’ experience performing preventative maintenance in a distribution center.
HVAC, Electrician, or Plumber license/certification required.
Manufacture certified repair person for powered equipment.
Advanced knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Devicenet, ControlNet).
Ability to troubleshoot MHE peripherals.
Strong communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
Basic ability to understand written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics.
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots power distribution systems, lighting, and wiring.
Maintains and repairs material handling systems such as conveyors and sortation equipment.
Modifies programming code to alter conveyor operations; reads PLC ladder logic.
Entrs data into CMMS and ensures timely paperwork completion.
Performs other general maintenance tasks as assigned.
