Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a DC Maintenance Mechanic to ensure maximum uptime of material handling equipment. You’ll lead repairs, delegate daily tasks, and coordinate with managers in a 700,000+ sq ft facility.

The role requires electrical, PLC, and MHE expertise, plus the ability to work with CMMS and safety protocols. The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education or work experience.
• HVAC repair certification is preferred where available.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and motor controls.
• Experience troubleshooting MHE peripherals and PLCs.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics in the DC.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot power distribution, lighting, transformers.
• Maintain material handling systems (conveyors, sortation, erectors).
• Troubleshoot PLC ladder logic and related components; modify control programs.
• Input data into CMMS and ensure end-of-shift documentation.
• Support lead mechanics and communicate with managers and supervisors.
