Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to manage and execute maintenance for critical distribution center equipment in a high-volume facility. This role combines hands‑on electrical expertise with leadership, coordinating tasks and prioritizing repairs to maximize uptime and safety.

You will troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, manage PLCs, and guide a team through end-of-shift handoffs while upholding Ulta Beauty policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with preventative maintenance and machinery familiar to Ulta Beauty DCs.
• Experience with safety procedures on equipment.
• Valid HVAC technician, Electrician, or Plumber license/certification required; powered equipment repair certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and electronics.
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots power distribution systems, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring.
• Designs and builds specifications for new electrical circuits.
• Maintains and repairs Material Handling Systems such as conveyors, case erectors, and sortation equipment.
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots PLC ladder logic, control components, including sensors and drives.
• Maintains a clean and organized maintenance shop.
