Job summary

Olathe Public Schools in Olathe, KS invites applications for Custodian - Lead Day at Summit Trail Middle School. This full-time evening position provides custodial services to maintain a safe, clean environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities include preparing facilities for events, supervising facilities, and coordinating with the Lead Custodian. A post-offer employment test and being 16 or older are required; benefits and retirement are available.

Qualifications

• Pass post offer employment test (POET) and fit-for-duty screening.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform custodial duties and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Arrange furniture and equipment for events to prepare for activities.
• Cleans assigned facilities to maintain a sanitary, safe environment.
• Delivers items and distributes materials to relevant parties within site.
• Monitors and informs staff and visitors about activities and safety issues.
• Monitors and adjusts site heating/cooling to balance comfort and energy use.
• Performs summer maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
