Kansas City Public Schools is seeking a Day Custodian (Full Time) to maintain clean, safe, and attractive facilities for students, staff, and visitors. This role involves cleaning, moving furniture, snow removal, and assisting with event setup throughout school sites.

The position requires ability to perform preventive maintenance, operate custodial equipment, and respond quickly to safety concerns. Open to immediate start within the Operations department.

Qualifications

• Duties include loading/unloading supplies and materials to appropriate locations.
• Proficiency in safe handling and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions to complete tasks on schedule.

Responsabilités

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, gym and other spaces to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Assist with snow removal and facility upkeep to keep areas safe for occupants.
• Deliver items and move furniture as needed for events and activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to facility issues promptly.
• Prepare facilities for daily operations and special events.
