Job summary

Saransh Inc. in Culver City, CA is seeking a Lead DataStage Integration Support Engineer for a contract role. You will own the DataStage ETL platform end-to-end, develop and support ETL jobs, and mentor a team of engineers across development and admin tasks.

You will also oversee incident management, RCA, and automation using Python and shell scripts, with strong emphasis on Control-M scheduling and collaboration with vendors. This position is onsite four days a week.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in IBM DataStage (Development + Admin).
• Strong Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and cron jobs.
• Hands-on Python programming.
• Strong experience with Control-M administration and scheduling.
• Relational databases knowledge (MS SQL Server, Oracle).
• Proven production support, incident management, and RCA.
• Experience leading teams and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end DataStage ETL platform (development, administration, and support).
• Lead and mentor a team of DataStage support engineers.
• Design, develop, and enhance ETL jobs and workflows.
• Administer DataStage (user roles, security, deployments, and migrations).
• Troubleshoot job failures across DataStage and Unix environments.
• Manage incident management, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and debug shell scripts and Python-based automation.
• Manage Control-M (job monitoring, failure handling, scheduling, agent upgrades).
• Configure SAP/Unix jobs, calendars, and workload policies.
• Support Gentran (maps, mailboxes, FTP scripts, Java programs, SQL procedures).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution.
