Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System seeks an experienced Database Administrator to lead and support the TUHS database environment. You will design, implement, monitor, and maintain Oracle, SQL and Cache databases across UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field, with 5 years of systems administration and 5 years in Oracle/SQL/Cache management. On-site three days per week, with on-call responsibilities and leadership duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field required.
• PowerShell scripting is required.
• 5 years of systems administration experience with UNIX/Linux/Windows.
• 5 years of Oracle/SQL/Cache management, tuning and configuration.
• Experience with healthcare/project environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and technical support for the TUHS database environment.
• Designs, implements, monitors, and maintains Oracle/SQL/Cache databases.
• Maintains production stability, backup and recovery, installation, and upgrades.
• Responsible for database capacity planning and data security practices.
• Leads a technical team and provides 24x7 on-call support for areas of responsibility.
