Job summary

Franklin Madison Group LLC is seeking a senior data warehouse engineer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale AWS data warehouses, primarily with Amazon Redshift. The role is hybrid in Brentwood, TN, requiring 3+ days in the office and up to 2 days remote, with a 5-day work week and ~40 hours. Expertise in ETL with AWS services and BI tools is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale Java applications in AWS.
• 5+ years implementing ETL pipelines using AWS services (EC2, S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions).
• 5 years with Lambda, RDS, S3, Step Functions, Java, Spring.
• 2 years designing and maintaining large-scale Data Warehouse solutions in AWS.
• 2 years with AWS Glue, Python, Qlik and Power BI.
• 5 years designing, developing, and modifying software using scientific analysis and mathematical models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data warehouse solutions in AWS, primarily Redshift.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and data engineers to gather requirements and deliver data models.
• Implement ETL pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Optimize performance of the data warehouse and ETL processes.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data warehouse solutions in AWS.
• Integrate data from various sources into a unified data warehouse.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance and data integrity.
• Create and maintain automated workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accessibility.
• Develop data models, data dictionaries, and user documentation.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy in AWS.
