Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Lead Data Scientist for SMB Ads Growth to architect the analytics function end-to-end. You will drive strategy across targeting, funnel optimization, and forecasting while collaborating with the SMB Ads Marketing team to inform decisions across marketing, product, and sales engineering.

You will own full-funnel analytics, segmentation, propensity modeling, campaign measurement, and forecasting to fuel high-impact growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science or growth analytics in ads, marketplace, or B2B.
• Proven track record deploying ML models (propensity, LTV) with measurable impact.
• Strong SQL; proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience thriving in ambiguous "0-to-1" environments and building data infra.

Responsibilities

• Establish foundational growth metrics and North Star KPIs for SMB Ads.
• Diagnose funnel friction and quantify incremental revenue from optimizations.
• Partner cross-functionally to convert data findings into roadmaps for product/marketing.
• Engineer propensity models and look-alike frameworks for high-LTV SMBs.
• Design multi-touch attribution, run A/B tests, and automate executive dashboards.
• Build revenue and advertiser growth models to project targets.
