Job summary

Zocdoc is seeking a Manager, Data Science — Provider Products to lead a team of data scientists and shape analytics that inform provider onboarding, engagement, and value creation across our marketplace. You will own experimentation, data pipelines, and reporting that influence product decisions.

You will mentor and grow a team, partner with Product and Engineering leaders on roadmaps, and use generative AI to streamline workflows and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, AI, Economics, Physics, or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in quantitative field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coaching, and developing a team of Data Scientists focused on Zocdoc's Provider Products.
• Set and own the analytical direction for the provider domain, driving product strategy, experimentation, and measurement.
• Review and guide analytical approaches, ensuring correct interpretation of results and communicating uncertainty.
• Oversee experimentation and measurement practices with clear success metrics and guardrails.
• Interface with senior leadership to inform and measure business decisions.
• Hire and onboard data scientists meeting Zocdoc's technical bar.
