Job summary

Zocdoc is seeking a Manager, Data Science — Provider Products to lead a team of data scientists driving analytics that inform product and commercial decisions. The role sits at the center of onboarding, engagement, and the value created for provider practices.

You will hire, mentor, and work hands-on, shaping analytics strategy while collaborating with Product and Engineering to align the roadmap with data-driven insights. This hybrid NYC/SoHo role offers extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6–9+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or applied quantitative roles.
• 1–3+ years of experience managing or mentoring data scientists.
• Experience with product strategy, experimentation, and two‑sided marketplaces or B2B products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Data Scientists and Senior Data Scientists focused on Provider Products.
• Set analytical direction for the provider domain, driving strategy, experimentation, and measurement.
• Review analytical approaches and ensure correct interpretation of results and clear communication of uncertainty.
