Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Senior/Lead Data Scientist to design, develop, and validate marketing mix or causal models, build LLM-powered MVP apps, and lead data science projects in a hybrid role. You will work 2 days per week on-site in Raleigh, NC, or Arlington/Charlottesville, VA, translating complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Data Science/Statistics/Applied Mathematics with 4+ years in data science and ML.
Hands-on Python experience deploying generative AI solutions (e.g., RAG pipelines, agentic workflows).
Experience building/validating MMM or other causal models.

Responsibilities

Develop marketing mix models (MMM) or other causal models with robust validation.
Rapidly prototype MVPs using Python, Snowflake, Copilot and related tools.
Engage with technical and non-technical clients to translate requirements into analytics.
Establish best practices for modeling and data science to ensure accuracy and impact.
Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to drive data science excellence.
