Aspen Technology, Inc. seeks a Principal Data Scientist to provide technical leadership for the next generation of Modeling and Simulation platforms. You will drive ML, AI, and cognitive computing initiatives, influence system design, and guide complex data analytics across product suites.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in engineering math and statistics, proven leadership in modeling or AI/ML, and a track record of applying research to customer value in fast-paced environments.

Qualificações

• Master’s in CS/Engineering/OR related field; PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of data analysis and software development with Python, Julia, MATLAB, C++/C, or C#.
• Experience leading technical teams in modeling, simulation or AI/ML areas.
• Strong expertise in engineering mathematics, statistics and optimization.
• Experience with ML algorithms: regression, deep learning, time series, data mining.
• Experience with LLM, generative AI, MLops, Graph Knowledge, and cloud tech is a plus.
• History of publishing ML research and results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
