Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join a team of data scientists, AI researchers, psychometricians, and software developers who provide technical leadership for our School (PreK–12) business unit. You will apply advanced DS/AI techniques to solve complex problems and translate insights into production-ready models.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Learning Design, and User Experience to deploy scalable solutions and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• PhD-level expertise in data science and educational measurement.
• 4–7 years of professional DS/AI project experience.
• Experience taking DS/AI models into production with monitoring and recalibration.

Responsibilities

• As a lead, independently apply advanced DS/AI techniques to drive outcomes for the School (PreK–12) unit.
• Develop scalable methodologies and frameworks for complex K–12 challenges.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Learning Design, and UX to operationalize models in production.
