Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Data Intelligence - Data Scientist Lead in Columbia, MD to drive machine learning and AI initiatives across the enterprise. You will identify business problems, apply statistical models, and communicate results to product teams and leadership.

The role requires 8 years of related experience, familiarity with provider data, and knowledge of Salesforce and Facets. Remote collaboration with teams is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
• 8 years of relevant work experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead data mining and extraction activities and apply algorithms to derive insights.
• Synthesize analytical findings for consumption by teams and senior executives.
• Lead proliferation of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions.
• Apply artificial intelligence techniques to achieve concrete business goals while managing data constraints.
• Mentor and develop junior data scientists for advanced data analysis.
• Translate business priorities into data science deliverables.
• Lead implementation of ML/AI/DS best practices for new data products and builds robust software.
