Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to support USFFC/N41 under NFL II on site at Hampton Roads. You will bridge military logistics and analytics, lead analytic studies, and build data pipelines essential for real-time decision making.

You will guide data engineering, apply ML and AI methods, and deliver dashboards and insights to senior leadership while maintaining governance and pipeline integrity.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred or 15 years experience in lieu of Master’s.
• 10+ years in software development, logistics, data science; at least 5 years in data science.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Advanced SQL; Python or PySpark for data wrangling.
• Data modeling (star/snowflake, Kimball, Inmon); dbt experience.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery; cloud providers.
• Experience with WAR DATA Platform, Maven/Palantir, Qlik Sense; data integration.
• Familiar with legacy data lakes, streaming tools (Kafka, Flink), and CI/CD with IaC.
• Proficiency in Python or R or Java or C++; team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analytics studies using statistics and AI to improve logistics outcomes.
• Build and ensemble predictive models; extract actionable insights.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT; maintain data quality and governance.
• Design dashboards and reports for senior leadership; oversee data governance.
• Lead project workflows and coordinate with external departments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a relevant technical field
