Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to design and implement advanced AI/ML and data science solutions across mission domains at Fort Meade, MD. The successful candidate will support the MPO customer environment, developing Agentic AI, RAG, and customized ML solutions.

Requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph. A Master's degree with 9+ years (or Bachelor's with 11+ years) and expert Python proficiency are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing sophisticated AI/ML solutions.
• Expert Python proficiency.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and RAG.
• Experience optimizing models for edge-computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced AI/ML and data science solutions.
• Develop Agentic AI systems and customized RAG capabilities.
• Assess, evaluate, and implement ML models for mission needs.
• Train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy ML and LLMs.
• Tailor AI/ML solutions for performance and resource constraints.
• Develop models for low-memory edge devices.
• Evaluate model performance and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with mission stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions.
