Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Lead Data Scientist to drive the AI Center of Excellence. You will design, develop, and deploy ML/AI models, collaborate with product teams, and steer end-to-end AI initiatives across on‑premises and AWS.

Qualifications

PhD or Master's in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of AWS cloud ML experience or a similar AI platform.
Familiarity with AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, S3, and Athena.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owner to manage end-to-end AI development lifecycle across on-premises and AWS environments.
Demonstrate self-discipline and ownership, maintain transparent communication, surface risks and blockers.
Apply automation to streamline manual processes and develop reusable self-service tools.
Stay current with emerging ML, cloud, and AI technologies and integrate them into workflows.
