Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to advance AI initiatives within the Enterprise Data and Analytics team. You will design, develop, and deploy models across on-premises and AWS environments, driving decision support and innovation.

The role requires a Master’s degree with 5+ years in ML/statistics; PhD preferred. Strong Python/R, Spark, LangChain, LLMs, and AWS Bedrock experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, economics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience using statistics and ML to solve complex business problems.
• Experience with big data analysis tools and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owner to manage end-to-end AI development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
• Demonstrate self-discipline and ownership, surface risks and blockers, ensure timely delivery.
• Apply automation to streamline processes and develop reusable, self-service tools.
• Stay current with AI/ML technologies and integrate new capabilities into workflows.
