Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a senior data science and AI engineering leader to design and govern agentic AI systems for Healthcare Digital.

You will lead cross-functional teams, build MCP-style servers for structured tool access, and integrate AI copilots into workflows to improve decision-making and productivity. The role requires 6+ years in data science/AI, 2+ years of leadership, and strong Python, ML frameworks, and cloud experience, along with excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years in data science, AI engineering, or applied ML with 2+ years of technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience building agentic AIsystems including tool-using agents, planning/monitoring agents.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud data and compute platforms (Azure, Databricks, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG pipelines, structured tool protocols, and knowledge graph integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, architecture, and implementation of agentic AI systems for Healthcare Digital.
• Coach and mentor a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI engineers focused on agent development and MCP integration.
• Partner with Healthcare Leadership (Culinary, EVS, Clinical Nutrition, Operations) to drive AI adoption and prioritize high-value opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT and enterprise AI teams to align on architecture, security, and platform standards.
• Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear, practical language.
• Ensure governance, privacy, compliance, and HIPAA adherence; establish monitoring and retraining workflows.
