Job summary

Blumen is seeking a senior technical writer to own, write, and run Blumen data-driven research content on energy, infrastructure, and minerals. You will leverage Blumen data tools and your writing acumen to produce world-class reports under the Blumen brand.

You will serve as editor and lead writer, build a team of freelance researchers, analysts, and writers, and create visuals that elevate the quality and narrative beyond typical industry reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional technical writing experience
• Deep understanding of energy and commodities markets
• Demonstrated excellence through available past written work (Substack, past jobs, Medium, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Serve as editor and lead writer on this team and eventually build a team of freelance researchers, analysts, and writers around you
• Research, write, and create compelling visuals targeted toward energy and infrastructure industry professionals that differentiates in richness, aesthetics, and narrative from the dry, mundane research from EIA, IEA, S&P, etc.
