Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Platform Engineering to own Snowflake administration, data pipelines, and AI enablement across the analytics stack. You will design, build, and monitor reliable data flows, manage security and performance, and collaborate with BI teams.

This role drives adoption of AI copilots, develops semantic views, and partners with cross-functional teams to productionize data assets and ensure governance across multi-account Snowflake environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; master's preferred.
• 5+ years in data engineering or BI with Snowflake in production.
• Hands-on experience with multi-account Snowflake architecture.
• Strong SQL and data ingestion/ETL/ELT tooling experience.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM enablement and BI visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Snowflake platform administration and security management.
• Designs and maintains data pipelines and ingestion jobs.
• Monitors performance, reliability, and cost; troubleshoots issues.
• Onboards new data sources and defines ingestion standards.
• Develops semantic views and supports AI copilot enablement.
