Job summary

Farther is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to own and advance the data platform powering our wealth management technology. You will define the roadmap, build the team, and drive end-to-end delivery from custodial ingestion through AI-ready data products.

You’ll shape canonical models across multiple custodians and lead data governance, quality, and lineage initiatives. You will oversee a distributed data team, work across AWS stack (S3, Lambda, ECS Fargate, Glue, Athena, Step

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data platform roles, 4+ years managing data teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL, AWS, and Python.
• Experience building AI/ML data products from production data.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the data platform roadmap from ingestion to AI-ready data products.
• Lead and grow the data engineering team and set technical standards.
• Own the security master and reference data across vendors.
