Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA seeks a Manager, Data Management to lead governance of marketing and patient data assets. You will guide cross‑functional teams and external vendors to ensure secure, compliant data integration for analytics supporting patient and HCP journeys.

The role requires translating business needs into IT solutions, delivering prioritized data deliverables, and maintaining data quality under regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data governance and validation across datasets.
• Collaborate with partners to submit use-cases and approvals.
• Enforce data governance for connected assets with access controls.
• Assess data needs with vendors for new use cases.
• Work with martech vendors on end-to-end data curation.
• Coordinate tokenization and linking of patient data assets.
• Manage data operations and SOPs for daily/weekly refreshes.
• Address inquiries from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Detect data issues and implement quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
