Job summary

Humana Inc, CenterWell's analytics arm, is seeking a Lead Informaticist to design and govern data products and pipelines in a cloud analytics environment using Databricks Genie One. You will lead technical architecture, ensure governance, and enable AI-assisted analytics across pharmacy, membership, and financial data.

The role emphasizes scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, metadata, KPI definitions, and cross-functional collaboration with data engineering, finance, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, analytics, informatics, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or similar.
• 7+ years in data analytics, informatics, BI, data engineering, or related fields.
• Experience leading complex analytical-data, data-product, or analytical-platform initiatives.
• Hands-on in modern cloud-based data and analytics environments.
• Strong SQL, ETL/ELT design, and reusable data assets experience.
• Experience with healthcare datasets and enterprise KPI definitions.
• Ability to translate business definitions into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and curated data products in Databricks.
• Translate requirements into reusable data models covering claims, membership, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Define metadata, data lineage, transformations, and usage rules.
• Govern business logic for KPIs, population rules, and data relationships.
• Integrate disparate data sources while preserving data meaning and quality.
• Build data environments for AI-assisted analytics using Databricks Genie One.
• Evaluate accuracy and completeness of AI-driven analytical outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale capabilities and governance.
