Responsibilities
- Design and implement the company's modern data stack, including infrastructure, pipelines, and security protocols.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across sources.
- Define and monitor underwriting metrics, optimizing through experimentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data visibility.
- Communicate insights to inform business decisions.
- Mentor team members and contribute to a high-performing data culture.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- 7+ years in data roles, with at least 2 in leadership or management.
- Experience building and scaling data infrastructure from scratch.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data modeling and performance estimation.
- Familiarity with cloud services like Snowflake.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Startup experience, especially in early-stage fintech, is a plus.
- Founder experience is advantageous.
- Strong leadership with a business-oriented vision for data infrastructure.
- Prior experience as a Software Engineer is preferred.
