Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. invites applications for a Lead Software Engineer-Python, AWS, Big Data within the Corporate Technology-Digital Workflows team.

You will design and deliver data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable across diverse business functions. You will lead the development and maintenance of data pipelines, review code, and mentor engineers while advancing AI-assisted development practices to improve quality and speed of delivery

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts.
5+ years of applied experience in software engineering and data systems.
Experience with Big Data, data platforms, and data engineering.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operations.
Programming in Python, FAST API, Spark.
Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, ECS) and Terraform.
Experience leading AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Training in Generative AI solutions like NLP/LLM models.
Experience implementing AI in engineering workflows and safe adoption.
