Healing Strides Counseling in Short Hills, NJ, seeks a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to guide a team, own data delivery, and architect enterprise-scale data solutions. Hybrid work with 2 days on-site; contract-to-hire arrangement.

The role emphasizes PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Azure, data lakes, ETL/ELT, CI/CD, and production pipelines. Expect live coding interviews and a strong leadership component to mentor engineers and shape technical direction.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, SQL and Databricks.
• Strong experience with Azure/cloud data platforms.
• Proven technical/team leadership experience.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Strong understanding of Data Lakes, ETL/ELT, data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD and production data pipelines.
• Ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews and provide technical direction.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka/Kinesis is a plus.
• Experience in regulated/enterprise environments is preferred.
• 5-8 years of Data Engineering/Data Integration experience.
