Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Staff Data Engineer (T5) to lead the design and delivery of decision support analytics in Roy, UT. You will work with the DS&A Portfolio Manager and engineers to create high-value analytics products and dashboards for program leadership.

The role requires a US Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance and a background in data engineering, analytics pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience designing analytics and decision support solutions that ingest complex program data and deliver actionable insights.
Strong background in data integration, analytics pipelines, and applying ML/AI techniques to real-world problems.
Experience leading multi‑component analytics solutions and guiding teams in tooling and patterns.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of decision support and analytics solutions leveraging DEI data and other sources.
Design analytics pipelines and data models for dashboards and reports for executives and engineers.
Establish standards for analytics data modeling, dashboards, and performance optimization.
Perform trade studies and design reviews for new analytics capabilities and ensure maintainability.
