Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Corporate Technology team focused on Risk Technology within Consumer and Community Banking. You will contribute across a broad set of technologies to deliver trusted, scalable products in a secure environment.

You will drive AI-assisted coding practices, lead architecture for data solutions on Snowflake and Spark, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring robust CI/CD and cloud-based deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• Experience delivering scalable data solutions and architecture.
• Proficient in multiple languages and cloud services.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and analyzes complex problems beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, production-grade code with efficient algorithms and system integration.
• Leads AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to maximize value and efficiency.
• Implements data solutions using Snowflake, data modeling and secure sharing.
• Builds ETL workflows with Python, Databricks, and Spark for scalable processing.
• Uses SQL and Spark for distributed data processing and analytics.
• Gathers and visualizes large data sets to drive continuous improvement.
• Provides architectural guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
